Meet Sheila Gujrathi
Dr. Sheila Gujrathi is a biotech entrepreneur, executive, healthcare investor, drug developer, speaker, and author with more than 25 years of experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. She has founded, built, and led multiple biotech companies and helped advance life-changing medicines for patients with immunology and oncology diseases.
She currently serves as founder and CEO of Prana Therapies, founder and executive chair of Vidya Therapeutics and Lila Biologics, and board director of Janux Therapeutics. She has also held leadership roles at companies acquired by Eli Lilly, Bristol Myers Squibb, Celgene, and Lyell.
Dr. Gujrathi earned her M.D. and B.S. in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University and completed training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, UCSF, and Stanford. She is also co-founder of the Biotech CEO Sisterhood and is passionate about creating safer, more inclusive workplaces for women and underrepresented leaders..
