When we accept and understand our pain, we can contextualize it and start to move forward.

I'll speak from experience. It took me about 25 years from a monumental, traumatic event in my family and my life to see the breakthrough.

It's not quick, nor is it easy, but yet hurt from the past created breakthroughs for the future. Trauma can eventually serve as a leadership tool.
